Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Formula One Racing.
The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be held between 11 Nov. 2011 to 13 Nov. 2011, on the beautiful Yas Marina Circuit, on Yas Island, 25 sq.km in radius, which is situated just 10 minutes away from Abu Dhabi International Airport, 30 minutes from Abu Dhabi City Centre and 50 minutes from Dubai Marina. Yas Island is one of the 200 islands that form Abu Dhabi, capital of the United Arab Emirates.

Important Facts & Information: - The Yas Marina Circuit was originally planned as a street circuit with a semi-permanent section.
- Yas Marina Circuit is a permanent facility where races can be run on one of 3 configurations. The full Formula 1™ track is 5.55km (3.4 miles) long and comprises 21 turns, 12 left and nine right with an estimated lap time of 1 minute 40 seconds and runs in an anti-clockwise direction.
- The 2nd and 3rd configurations of the track are shorter at 3.15km (1.9 miles) and 2.36km (1.46 miles) respectively. The two additional tracks can run independently of each other and make it possible for the Yas Marina Circuit to hold two events simultaneously.
- The vision behind the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix facility was to develop a centre of motorsporting excellence that the entire Formula 1™ community would be proud of.
- The Yas Marina Hotel, is the only hotel in the World to have a Formula 1™ track running through it, giving the lucky few staying there an unparalleled view on race weekend. This is one of the unique features of the track.
- The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Yas Marina Circuit is touted to be the most technologically advanced circuits in the World. What makes the Circuit even more special is that visitors will experience a mixture of the traditional Arabic culture and welcoming hospitality alongside sensational on-track action.
- The Yas Marina Circuit was recently awarded a trophy by the Federation Internationale de l’Automobile (FIA), the governing body for world motor sport. The Yas Hotel will display this trophy. At the annual FIA Gala held in Monaco, the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was named the 2009 “Race Promoter of the Year”.
- Standing majestically at the top of the start finish straight is the 60-metre high Shams Tower, with integrated solar panels, will produce 450 megawatt hours of clean, solar electricity annually, saving 400 tons of greenhouse gases. The Sun Tower will become an icon, a landmark of the Yas Marina Circuit, making it instantly recognisable for visitors and viewers around the World.
- The Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Yas Marina Circuit features two pit buildings, an innovative dragstrip, a unique butterfly formation karting track, stylish grandstands and sophisticated Marina area including a hotel and yacht club.

There are Video Walls opposite all Grandstands at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix: - Main Grandstand is located opposite the team garages with a great view of the entire start/finish straight.
- North Grandstand offers views a long straight, a hairpin corner, and two further corners in front of the stand.
- South Grandstand Upper offers one of the greatest panorama views in motorsport including views on two corners and several straights.
- South Grandstand Lower offers good views over two corners and several straights.
- West Grandstand offers views over a long straight and two tight corners in front as well as the long straight leading to the North Grandstand. The run-off for cars which fail to negotiate the tight turn at the end of the long straight passes directly underneath this grandstand.
- Support Pit offers views over a large part of the circuit including the critical turns around the Marina.
